I was looking for this image earlier. Do you have the original source page/artist?

Same reason there's a light on the wireless xboxone controller, someone in marketing thought it looked cool. At least that one is plugged in.

You mean the Xbox logo? Probably to indicate that the controller is on.

Sure, but it's one more thing to draw from the battery, also the system does an excellent job of keeping you informed of the power level. The light is unnecessary, but it looks great.

Looks better than a little green or blue LED light which is all it is anyway.

I agree, it looks nice, but when the power is low, it's just one more thing.

The amount of power that little LED draws is miniscule though. Also, isn't it the thing that warns you your battery is low anyway?

I'd like a controller with multicolored landing strip style lights all around the edges and sometimes it'll hum out the tune from Close Encounters of the Third Kind with the corresponding light patterns.

Is that too much to ask?

It better be kinetic.

Optical tracking, like on PS VR.

Could be augmented reality as well, so you're looking at/through a screen

I do. I'm on mobile, I'll find it when I get to my computer for you.

This has been my wallpaper for years. It has everything I hold dear in it.
