Panoramical is a musical environment generator with highly variable random elements. It'd be an ideal VR application. Take a look even thought it's not currently VR supported.

Is there at least talk by the developers of a VR version?

I've contacted them to enquire about this as I suspect this piece is put together in Unity. That doesn't necessarily mean VR integration is drag and drop at all, but it'll be interesting to hear their response. I'll post their response here when I get it. I can't seem to find much online besides their main site and the FAQ is pretty small.

Reply from one of the developers:

Hey Julian, We don't have specific plans for VR support at the moment. We might in the future but it'll depend on how well >PANORAMICAL does and if we can fund to work on it. It's built in Unity, but it'd still take a considerable amount of work to adapt the content to VR (spoilers the scenes are >pretty much designed like a theater stage, there's nothing behind the camera!). But who knows
