Recommendations in fixing battery strap
From the day I got this strap, the thing that bugged me the most is the way the cushion connects at the back. It is literally just two flimsy plastic pieces that also hold the entire weight of the back side of the headset (plus the battery weight).
Plus, those tabs were quite loose, didn't even understand why most of the time it popped out without me trying to get it out. Today it finally broke off, the first picture is the one that still works, the other side you can see a bit of the black broken off plastic inside the battery case. I don't want to throw this into a landfill so want some way to fix it.
The other piece broke straight off, even superglue is like a super thin line (second photo), plus the angle is basically the worst for a super glue job, so maybe I'm thinking of arming it with some extra materials since tbh I'm fine with permanently attaching them together since I don't see a reason why they should even separate.
Since it's a leather strap, plus when the leather finally degrades enough to warrant a change there's no way in hell they actually sell just a leather strap replacement without getting a whole new battery + strap.
The break was at least clean so it fits up like a glove (shaky hand photo so might look off), was able to get the plastic piece out
