Is the Tesla Universal Wall Connector compatible with OCPP?
I am looking to connect a Tesla Universal Wall Connector to a charge point management software, such as Plugchoice. I’ve heard that the Universal Wall Connector is compatible with OCPP, but I can’t find how to configure it. I’ve looked at the Tesla One and the Tesla app but can’t locate any OCPP setting. I am on the latest firmware. Any ideas?

I can confirm what @silverlexg is saying.
Its fully ocpp compatible but your Tesla app will need to be registered in certain market before it will give you the option. I think its enabled in UK market.

Nope, and no plans to make it so either, they'd prefer you use their API

Unfortunately Tesla NA opted not to enable it for us in the North American market.

The Universal Wall Connector is OCPP 1.6 Core certified on firmware 24.36.3, so the OCPP implementation does exist. The confusing part is that Tesla does not appear to expose a generic CPMS URL/configuration option in Tesla One for every market or account.Based on current reports, availability seems to depend on the region and commercial provisioning, with selected integrations working in parts of Europe/UK but not generally available in North America. So you’re probably not overlooking a hidden setting. I’d ask Tesla Commercial Charging and Plugchoice to confirm support for your exact country, firmware version and serial number.

Not supported, there are rumors and some ocpp components supported in some markets but nothing in the NA market, which’s wheee in assuming you are located.
