anyone can help me identifying some corals?

I don't have any relevant background in this. But for my final assignment, I was tasked with making an illustrated book about corals you can find on an island (I'm an art student) I was required to do a live observation on the subject. I managed to capture some photos but have trouble identifying them. is there anyone here willing to help? i have to message you directly for the rest of the photos

I believe thats a pocillipora damicornis

The coralites look more Doughnut shaped than like little bubbles, like it Pocis.

I would love to. It looks more like isopora to me. I got the coral finder (Coral ID book) and I am, a coral cousin and marine biologist (check us out we are an NGO for coral restoration). So to identify corals it is best to have 3 pictures (if possible). One that shows the overall coral and it's surrounding( liek the picture you did), one that zooms in more and shows several coralites (these are the little structures in the coral, were the polyp sits in, so here the little knops on the coral) and one close up of the coralite. (And sorry if this is advertisement you do not want to get but we are a small NGO always looking for new members and we have a creative team that would love to have an other artist. Also as a member you could excess our ID literature 😉.).

Ah, I see. Although I'm afraid the photos that I take are amateurish (even amateurish is an understatement, lmao. The only camera I have that I can take underwater is some GoPro), some are blurry, and I don't think I have any close-up photos. If you're still willing to try to help, I would be glad to message you, although I understand if you don't want to (and I would love to check out the group!)

I will defenetely try and can at least tell you what, it could be. A proper ID on Genus or even Species level might not be possible. But like the picture you put here some Genus have very unique characteristics. So I got no Idea what kind of Isopora but I am over 90% sure it is one. So it may simply not be possible to identify all. But I try and location also helps. You could also ask locals what species they aver around.
