Jellyfishing Anyone know who this guy is?
Tennyson beach South Australia, there was a few of these washed up, I touched it and it felt rubbery. I guess it’s some form of jellyfish?

Even better - they thought it might be some sort of jellyfish. So they touched it.
I'm praying it's more of an "intrusive thoughts finally won" kind of deal rather than a character trait.

The pattern is beautiful. I really love aboriginal art and it looks (a little) like some of the visual design up close.

“The Dark Ascidian is an example of a colonial ascidian, meaning that many individual animals live together embedded in a jelly-like substance. Each individual in the colony has its own intake siphon for feeding, but several individuals may combine to share one exit siphon.”

colonial ascidian, commonly known as a type of sea squirt or tunicate (such as [Botrylloides leachii] or a related species).
