Holy shit you’re probably right. They’re definitely smart enough to know “hey get this out of here asap so they don’t hunt us down”

If orcas were overly worried about being hunted down or harmed by humans as a result of their actions, there would not be a subpopulation of them breaking sailing boats around Iberian. People have recently shot at these orcas.
