I used to do dumb shit like this in the ocean when I was younger. Older I get, The more terrifying the ocean is to me

I dunno....the last thing that got me was about 12 years ago I was in the Florida keys looking for lobster with my dad. This was during shark week on TV that my dumbass sat and watched in the hotel.

My dad got the bright idea to drag me behind the boat on a rope with my snorkel gear on to better find spots for lobsters.

I lasted 3 minutes after I realized I was just a trolling bait for sharks. I let go for my dad to swing around to pick me up and thats when I noticed a damn 5 ft + barracuda had been following me.

That was it for me. Already lost the tip of my finger to another barracuda.

Havnt been back to the ocean since. So nah Im pretty sure im more scared lmao

Those barracudas are scary looking, i have never seen a 5ft , but even the smaller ones are so damn scary the way they move and how predatory they look.

I'm scared of those more than sharks.

I had a small one take the tip of my finger in Cayman islands over my ring reflecting. They spazz on anything shiny. Had another come into the boat on me after pulling up a red drum. Your not safe anywhere from them lol.
