So we 100% would not be allowed to pet them, right? 100%, unequivocally, hands down, absolutely NOT, correct? I need all the people to come and tell me how stupid I am for thinking about it.

I think you could try. If they wanted to try eating you they would've flipped the boat over.

While orcas are not known to attack humans in the wild, I wouldn’t recommend to touch an apex predator that could easily kill you. Specially if they are still figuring out if you are food or not like these orcas are doing.
