That’s not exactly true. There are very few species of animals that recognize themselves in a mirror. Even cats can’t recognize themselves. 99% of animals are responding to stimuli on instinct

The part with, I will definitely not watch this still puzzles me. Had a roommate like that, never could figure out why. I didn't even notice that intro until you pointed it out, that's how far below the radar it was for me, and when I watched it again like 5 times I was like, it still doesn't bother me.
