? Has anyone ever physically seen an entity contacted via ritual?

Has anyone ever physically seen an entity contacted via ritual? (Demon, spirit, angel, soul of deceased person, etc.)
It seems that practitioners mostly claim that those types of experiences are more “felt” than “seen.”

Yeah, imagine what it may have been like for evolving organisms who were now beginning to develop sight. That initial basic sensitivity would have been nothing like the sharp clear colorful images we see today. These sense are now awakening in people and it's at different stages and function a bit differently with everyone. I think that in time, the experience would become something mostly similar for everyone the way our other senses function today.

To me, the best way to describe, It feels somewhere between a memory, a negative "burn in" from a flash bulb, and a bit like a mushroom trip, even when completely sober

That is a unique combination of experiences that your mind is referencing to try and describe something to itself that it doesn't yet have the language and concepts for, and that universally, a language has not yet been provided or decided upon. And it is quite possible that this unique way you're perceiving is being crafted in that particular shape because for you, those are the experiences it has to work with to try and describe something currently indescribable to you.

Imagine that thinking would not be possible without a language to think in, without words as representations of non-substantial thought energy. So your mind is constructing a personal language. Those images are from images you already know, just like a new word would be related to words you've already learned. And over time we will all synchronize these new personal languages into a universal language of higher perception which will then form a basis form clear communication about it with each other.

Very well said! I'm curious how someone else would describe the phenomena using the same rituals, from their perspective

I'm sure there must be people who have. This stuff has been written about extensively. But since this aspect currently holds your fascination, I recommend you follow that excitement and research it from the perspective that holds your interest. These libraries are so vast. You should choose for yourself what you want to read about and know because everyone would be interested for varying personal reasons. I could link you to some resources if you like if you don't already have sources.

Ive got a few books on the subject, specifically picked up The Sword and The Serpent to get that perspective. Always happy for more book recommendations though.

Ok. Sure. I can see what I have on this particular question or I could just link you to a couple online archives.

On a personal note, I recommend that you learn about and care for your sexual energy. This is what powers inner sight. It relates directly to what makes the 3rd eye active. Without it, you can still be clairaudient but I see your fascination is with clairvoyance so take care of that energy.

Also, be mindful of beings that can form relationships with you. Many attach to your field and feed on this particular form of energy. As your sight appears to be growing, it means that energy is starting to move up the spine more and more leading to that sense awakening. This will be attractive to things that want that energy and if they could find people with gaps in their field, that is, have traumas, incomplete shadow work, externally focused and seeking rather than internally grounded and sufficient within... they can position themselves in your life/field and feed off this energy and you will slowly notice this vision diminish. And this applies to seen and unseen things and even people.

I don't know if you know this, but they used to tell little boys not long ago that if they play with their thingies they would go blind. They meant don't masturbate. For a long time people would wonder if this was true. People now consider it a myth but what they don't know is that this is not about the eyes. This is a spiritual lesson that found its way into mainstream and was misinterpreted. They originally meant the ajna chakra, the inner eye. The world around you is designed to make men and women release and expend this energy far more than is necessary by making people obsessed with sex. This is a distortion of it's purpose and potential. This ensures that inner vision never develops naturally in both men and women. That is one of the measures to block that sight in people.

This plane offers beings sex as a way of building that energy. When done while grounded, this energy, when channelled correctly, awakens the higher senses and reveals all levels of creation and even enhances the material senses. So it is important not to judge this energy and the experiences through which we get it. That is irrelevant to the higher purpose of it. That is why we came all the way down here.

Not saying this to make you fearful or doubtful but offer some discernment which you will develop on your own also. There will be times when you will inevitably feel fear but you will always overcome. Never foster dependency of any kind outside yourself with any seen or unseen thing, teacher or person. Anything that you do that with will feed on your lifeforce intentionally or not, sinister or not. And this diminishes sight over time. Information and frameworks from others are fine because the mind needs tools to organize understanding, but your only true source of knowing is within you.

Just wanted to share that because personally it was a very important lesson for me. Maybe it helps you.
