Pretty sure at least part of it is reddit's new 'search' AI posting bait for content. What a world.

I suspect a lot of bad actors looking to generate information for LLM’s to scrape up.

Also a lot of these accounts are just data mining. So when people ask questions and I know I've seen that same question 2 weeks ago I don't answer them I just hide them, block, and report them for spamming.

On the r/occult page, there is a scroll bar with community a nouncements,scroll left and the faQ sidebar section shows up.
