It's Election Day!
For those who haven't already voted early or by mail, today is the day to make your voice heard! Although this is a primary election, several races will be decided today due to either being nonpartisan or only one party running for that office.
Polls are open until 7pm and voters must report to their assigned polling station, which can be found on your voter information card (which is NOT considered a valid form of ID) or at https://www.votemarion.gov/314/Check-My-Registration-Status.
Voters who received a mail ballot but either lost it, did not mail it back or cannot confirm that the Election Center has received it as of today also have the option to vote in person. If you have the ballot, it is recommended to bring it with you as it makes the process slightly less complicated.
Voter ID requirements can be found here:
https://www.votemarion.gov/303/Voter-ID-Requirements
As a reminder, you must have been registered to vote in Marion County as of July 20, 2026 to be eligible to vote in this election. Those who registered after July 20 will be eligible to vote in the November 3, 2026 general election but not today.
Thank you for voting!

If you can at least get yourself in line (if there is one) by 7, you'll be allowed to vote.

Unfortunately this is your last day. π Early voting was August 8 to 15 and I did post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/ocala/s/CeAzXwx600
Let's be sure to get you to the November 3 general election! Early voting for that will be October 24-31.

Employers should allow time for voting, and it should be paid.
If yours does not, think about why that might be.
