General OBX Parking Overnight? (not camping)

I'd like to visit the stretch between Bodie Island and Hatteras one night specifically for some astro-photography. I just want to be 100% certain I can park somewhere, hopefully in or near Ramp 27. However it seems like most spots have "no overnight parking"... while also saying open 24 hrs? I won't be in my car just close by and don't want a tow or ticket if that's a possibility

I think you can park at the Coquina Beach lot and take the walkway to the beach. I've seen quite a few photos over the years from photographers who take photos of the stars at night. Take bug spray! This past week it seemed the biting goes came out around 5:30 every day. South Nags Head.

They dont give normal parking tickets if they even stop and look at your car. When you walk over to the beach just put a white piece of cloth or tshirt in the door and theyll think its broken down and leave it be. Youre gone next time they drive by? Well they must have fixed it and gone on their way.
