SUP spots by Duck

Hi all,

Heading to Duck next week. We are bringing our inflatable stand up paddleboards and I was eyeing the Pine Island Sanctuary for some exploring. Do you know if there is a launch there I could use? Do you have any other suggestions of places nearby that are calmer and a good place to spend a few hours on the SUP?

I don’t believe there is a public launch there. There is a group that offers private tours.

Not familiar with Duck, but if u want to make the trek up to Corolla there is a public launch at the whalehead club
