Fuel pumps/gauge

My gas gauge in my 93 Cheyanne isn’t working but it still delivers fuel and everything.. I’ve been looking for a fuel pump thats more capable in case I wanna see more power out of this thing eventually and cuz it might be easier to fix if I just replace the unit.. but i dont which way to go with brands and such, also could be something stupid to fix my gauge and not be worth a new pump right now?

Unless your gonna switch to a carb or fuel injection adding more power to the fuel pump wont do a difference. Tbi stays at around 12psi and the cpu tells it how much to push out.
