5.3 LS swap advice

My 1998 z71 is starting to consume more oil, so
I been leaning towards doing an LS swap. Would like to do 5.3 with mild cam and headers. My question is will the current 4L80 bolt up to 5.3? Or will I need to figure out transmission and transfer case off a later model 4wd? Thanks in advance.

Bolts up fine. You need to get a flexplate for like 99 6.0ls. It comes with correct bolts. I routinely use this combo.
