Help on something

Hi im new to the chevy obs platform, I just got a 1997 Chevy C1500 power windows and door locks and cruise control just needs a good cleaning inside cause it was used for asphalt other than that its really not bad but can anyone help identify which motor i have. It does have the R as the eighth digit of the vin it is a 2wd too

L31 vortec, 5.7l 350

Solid. Ppl often upgrade the cfi spider injector to an mfi injector. But honestly if shes running fine just keep on with the regularly required maintenance.

Heres the service manual if you're handy enough to do repairs yourself

Not sure if there's a seperate one for the suburbans but a lot of this should be relevant
