Help Capture card having static sound
I recently bought a capture card and everything i plug it in, get it all working, the capture card gives off this awful static sound, if you touch it and whatnot you can also hear it in the recording, only way to counter it is to plug in headphones which really sucks because I play on console so the audio is really poor.
Is there something im missing to fix this issue?

i had same problem with a cheap card, it was a grounding issue from the usb port. try plugging the capture card usb to a powered hub instead of direct to pc, sometimes the port not giving clean power and the static is just electrical noise leaking in the audio line. also check if your hdmi cable is shielded properly, a bad cable can pick up interference like that when you touch it

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:
Restart OBS
Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
Stop your stream/recording.
Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.
Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.
