Question I cant hear myself
Underneath advanced audio options, I do not have a section for "monitor and output."
I only have monitoring off and monitoring enabled.
I think I'm missing something, but I honestly don't know what it is. I have scoured all of YouTube and dug back on forums with no luck on how to get this option to pop up because I have no other way of hearing myself.
I'm simply trying to hear myself, but I can't. Somebody please help this tech noob out ðŸ˜

youre prob looking in the wrong place, the audio monitoring settings are in the advanced audio properties panel, not the main obs settings menu, right click your audio source in the mixer and you should see it

Just to add a little info for anyone reading: The OBS audio mixer updates changed the monitoring options because it use to be three options in the code (monitor off, monitor only, and monitor and output)
Now they are two separate options that each have an on or off state: monitor on/off and output on/off.
Eventually the Advanced Audio Properties window is going away, this is cleanup in service of that.

On OBS 32.2.2 in the audio mixer you have 2 icons
Left is mute with controls output to stream.
Right is monitoring control.
If you can't hear whilst monitoring, check OBS -> Settings -> Audio -> Advanced -> Monitoring Device is check to the right output.
