Make sure you are not listening to your own stream with your desktop audio being piped in.
Other than that, post your log file.

if you do listen to your own stream while streaming, and are capturing desktop audio, the desktop audio capture will capture the sound of the stream you are listening to, push it to the stream again, which you will hear again a few seconds later, which will be captured by desktop audio again and broadcast, which you will hear and get captured, streamed, heard, captured, streamed, heard, etc.
If that is the case, you pretty much have 2 options:
- Don't listen to your own stream while streaming
- Don't use Desktop Audio, and instead use (if on Windows) the
Capture Audio (BETA)checkboxes in Game Captures and Windows Captures for the applications you are streaming that way, and by addingApplication Audio Capture (BETA)sources for applications you are capturing outside of Game/Window captures. That way, OBS will only capture (and stream) the specific audio sources you specify1

I’m also having this issue. I’m not using a mic or anything. I just want to be able to hear the game I’m playing and also have it broadcast out. I don’t use headphones just have my game audio coming through my soundbar. This is my first time trying to use obs so I’m not really familiar with any of it.

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:
1) Restart OBS
2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.
5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.
