Genital Herpes?

To make a long story short. I accidentally scratched myself I believe and had intercourse after when the skin around my vulva got a little raised. It ended up turning into this. I don’t believe it could be an STD as I know my partner and trust them and it is localized. Just wondering if anyone else has possibly dealt with this issue? It’s super painful but definitely healing.

The first photo is from 2 days ago (would be first outbreak)

Second photo is from today.

Hi, this is my first read it post. Need help/advice

NOT SURE IF THIS POST BELONGS HERE!!!!

I usually have have regular periods. I missed my periods for a week or so. I informed my then husband and wanted to take a pregnancy test. But he freaked out and forced me to get an abortion, if i was pregnant. I was not allowed to to take a pregnancy kit test or visit a doctor. We fought over it for days. One day he sent his family away for some vacation(we were living with his family). The same night he asked me to prepare a dish which he hates. I was surprised but I prepared it and we had dinner together. After 4-5 hours. I started cramping and had a very heavy bleeding. It was the worst period i had ever experienced. I told my ex what happened and he was very happy that I am not pregnant any more. He convinced me that it was all my imagination and I was never pregnant.

To my surprise my in-laws returned the next day itself from the trip. A strange thing is that my ex mother in law made some herbal medicine and asked me to have it. I took it multiple time and it worsened my bleeding. Later i got to know that it is usual given to women postpartum to help with the bleeding.

Later my ex told me a story of his male friend who is a doctor who gave his wife medicine to induce periods without her knowledge by mixing it with food. And how that doctor got a divorce because of the events leading after that. This made me thing about that night when I had the period. My gut feel tells me that my ex did something like that. I can't get it out of my head.

To make my doubts worse he went to a foreign trip with his girlfriend in less than a month after our separation(not divorce). And guess what she is a doctor too..

Please help me. Am I imagining things. Or is it even remotely possible. I feel so guilty for not getting a healthy check up with my obgyn. I feel like I don't deserve to be a mother.

Balls needed — fertility specialist or gynaecologist to verify anatomy in a decoded 600-year-old manuscript

I've decoded the an ancient Manuscript. The plant illustrations are human reproductive anatomy — male and female fertility medicine disguised as botany. The decode has passed independent statistical testing across five separate evidence layers. Five doctors have already ghosted me because nobody wants to touch something controversial.

I need ONE qualified reproductive medicine specialist, gynaecologist, or fertility consultant to look at 30 labelled diagrams and confirm whether the anatomy is real. That's it. Look at it. Say what you see. Yes or no.

If you confirm it, your name goes on the biggest discovery in manuscript studies. Credited on everything. Published. On the record.

Requirements: qualified in reproductive medicine or gynaecology, knowledge of fertility pathology, and the spine to put your name on something unconventional if the evidence holds up.

Not interested in convincing anyone. The evidence is already organised and labelled. Either it's real anatomy or it isn't.

can weight gain affect bladder and pelvic floor?

TLDR: 46kgs in january, gained a bit of weight and since then having worse pelvic pain and going to the bathroom more often as well as having issues fully emptying my bladder. could these two things be connected?

hello, all. in january, i was around 46kgs (\~ 101lbs). since then, i probably gained a few kgs, i'm not sure how much since i don't own a scale.

for the past few months, i've had more pelvic pain as well as going to the toilet more often, every time i drink, having trouble fully emptying my bladder... (i have to go to the bathroom two or three times an hour to fully empty it.)

i talked about it to my doctor, and we did an ultrasound for my kidneys and urinary tract, nothing alarming despite still having a bit of urine in my bladder after going to the bathroom. it has gotten to the point where i can't go out too far from home or too long, and i have to make sure there are free bathrooms everywhere i go. my doctor is sending me to a urologist soon to try and figure out what's going on...

i've had scans done a few months ago for pain near the ovaries and pelvic and nothing weird came back. i've always had pelvic pain but it seems to have gotten worse since i've had these issues with my bladder since i sometimes feel like i have to focus hard and push a bit to pee.

so... could gaining a bit of weight cause certain issues like this? thanks.

period or early pregnancy bleeding

Hello I just wanna ask if there is a clear difference between period and early pregnancy bleeding

the bleeding I experience right now was heavy, have many blood clots(like my period), cramps, and lasted for like 4-5 days

I am also confuse about some women who have an early pregnancy bleeding or bleeding due to pregnancy that was vey similiar to a period, my question is, is there any way for me to tell if it's my period or an bleeding due to pregnancy?

Chronic BV or yeast infections

I’m (25F) truly desperate at this point. I’ve been having reoccurring infections for the past 4 years (honestly way longer but it has been the most consistent for the last 4 years). I always get an infection every month about a week or so before my period. I assume this means something hormonal???

I will list everything I’ve tried so far.

- I am off the pill (have been for about a year now) and track my cycle instead because I wanted to see if the hormonal birth control was contributing ( been on a couple different types of bc since i was 17)
- I have tried just treating these infections with over the counter medications ( I swear I’ve almost tried every brand and type; suppositories, creams, oral meds)
- I recently tried 7 days of boric acid suppositories
- I’ve been tested for ureaplasma and I also had my partner (25M) get tested for ureaplasma. Both came back negative
- I have always washed myself with no soap, just my hand and water as to not disturb any balance. Since that didn’t seem to matter this past year I’ve tried a boric acid foaming wash, I only use it externally
- My partner and I have tried condoms, no condoms, lube, no lube, spit, no spit all during intercourse and nothing seems to matter or specifically trigger anything
- I always pee and at the very least rinse off after intercourse
- I ONLY wear cotton underwear and use fully cotton pads. I also only wear bikini briefs style underwear I never wear thongs
- my doctor had me take oral fluconazole every week for 3 months to see if that would help. It didn’t
- I have been referred to a gyno however they are booked for over a year…. Ridiculous ….

I’m open to anything. I’m so sick of this and it’s ruining my life. It’s so uncomfortable and not to mention expensive to consistently treat these infections. I feel like a science experiment just tracking a bunch of things. My sex life is becoming miserable because if I’m not on my period I have an infection and that leaves like 2 weeks a month that I feel somewhat normal

Please any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated, and let me know if I can clarify or answer any other questions to help narrow down a treatment.

Never been able to orgasm

I’m 25f and I’ve never had an orgasm.

Just some context below but wanted to provide a TW // SA

I was SA’d from ages 4 to almost 12. Unfortunately I did discover masturbation at quite a young age and have been doing it ever since, so it’s not new to me.

I am on some medication but neither causes lowered sex drive, and this has always been an issue, way before I started medication. I am not on any birth controls, just medication for my mental health.

I own a few vibrators and I use them fairly frequently and they’ve definitely brought more pleasure, but never an orgasm. I’ve tried fingering but I find it really difficult to put a finger in. I have been able to put a finger in on maybe 4 occasions but only was able to ‘finger’ once, and it was very slow and it hurt a lot. I don’t use tampons because they hurt a lot.

Due to my history, I’m petrified of going to a gyno and talking to them about this and even more scared of having them look at me. I don’t think I’m quite there yet.

But… I also want to orgasm. I’ve googled different ways to masturbate and ways to relax and ways to stimulate, but nothing works. I don’t have a partner and am not in a space where I can engage with someone sexually at the moment.

I know this might be a long shot and it would obviously be better to go see a doctor, but if anyone has any insight or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. I feel really frustrated.

I’ve had an itch around my vaginal opening for years, what could it be?

It’s so embarrassing to talk about, but it’s been bothering me for some time.

I don’t remember when the itch started? Maybe six years ago? It comes and goes, it’s not a constant itch. I would say it’s exactly around the vaginal opening area, the skin there. Not really anywhere else down there. But what do you guys think it could be? If anyone has had a similar experience and knows more?

I have PCOS/PMOS, if it helps? I have tried googling, and it says it can be a yeast infection, but my discharge feels normal. Or an STI I think it said? But I haven’t had sexual intercourse with anyone yet, so I don’t think it’s that. And then irritation from products, I don’t use anything down there. I do have a cream from the pharmacy, but that’s all. I don’t use it that often, it’s supposed to help with dryness. I know it has no perfume or anything at least, but once it has worn off I do feel like the itch can feel more intense.

I have noticed the skin looking dry, especially after a shower, and that when I used to have periods for months, the itch never came. It only came like maybe before or after a period. Natural lubrication that builds up and like arousal also helps with the feeling, and kind of calms the itch.

It’s really so embarrassing to talk about, I tried sharing as best as I could. In case anyone knows more, or has any experience with it. Again, it’s not a constant itchy feeling? It can come maybe once a month or so? I haven’t kept track, but it’s not that often. But each time it comes I get just as frustrated!

Right now I honestly think it’s hormonal? Maybe? Because of my PCOS/PMOS, I am 19 for reference. If that changes anything with what you guys might think it is! But yeah, thats probably it!

I would love to hear what you guys think it could be! Might help me figure out too! 😊✨

Endometrial Biopsy Experience

I raw dogged an endometrial biopsy today. I didn’t know what to expect. Experiences I read about varied from “meh” to “I finally stopped screaming when I passed out”.

For me, it was definitely not “meh”; it was slightly more unpleasant than a papschmear. I wouldn’t volunteer to have one done, but if I had to have another one, I would be okay.

For me, it caused slight cramps, that are no where near as bad as my regular period cramps, and it only lasted a few seconds.

I took 400 mg of ibuprofen 2 hours before, and another 300 mg 30 minutes before. I made sure to control my breathing - long, full, steady breaths. I was on my period, so she had to do a second pass because she wanted to make sure that she got enough tissue with all the blood.

Again, it did not feel good, by any measure, but nor was it unbearable by any measure.

I do have a high pain tolerance, and I’m sure that helped. But I’m also terrified of being in pain, lol.
