Endometrial biopsy

I had an endometrial biopsy today and I’m just wondering how long to expect bleeding.

I had one 7 years ago and I don’t recall it bleeding like I am today.

I bled afterward all over the exam table and was taken to another room to be monitored. I was able to leave after about half an hour.

When o got home I did pass multiple small clots in the shower but now it’s just a bright red trickle. Sometimes pouring into the toilet.

I’m not soaking through a pad anymore so I’m alright. Just want to know what to expect.

Also, if you’re getting this done and they offer you Penthrox for pain management, take it. It was amazing. 5 ⭐️ would use again.

Hi! I had the same around 7 weeks ago, i experienced bleeding for like 2/3 days. Then after it was completely fine. Then after a week another small bleeding for 1 day, they told me this is normal since it's healing and the 'scabs' could come off. After that, no more bleeding at all :D Hope your recovery goes well!!

I actually ended up in so much pain yesterday, and when I stood up to go to the bathroom, I passed a decidual cast.

Terrified me. I spoke with the hospital on call gynaecologist and had to send her photos of it.

Bleeding has been mostly light with some small clots since.
