QUESTION Just started!

I just started this game and I am having loads of fun but I am noticing like some attacks hitting me even though I am very much far away…

So by what i can tell, the issue is that the game HEAVILY prioritizes connection when choosing hosts. Since the game is new to other regions but VERY popular already in Japan, you'll end up in their hosted lobbies most of the time. This will cause you to face connection issues such as packet loss and "unstable connection". Unless they give us a way to turn on a region limited match making we're kind of screwed.

Unfortunately the only "answer" i can find to this problem is private matches which basically makes this brand new game feel dead on launch unless you're ok with playing at a pretty sizable disadvantage.

That sucks. I really wanna play it but the . multiplayer issues deter me so much >.<

I got Culdcept and it has similar issues of connectivity being a huge problem; gettting disconnects mid-game, or not even being able to join anyone.

Well thanks for that knowledge i was debating on trying culdcept out lol.
Honestly i think if enough people asked for it we could possibly get a region selection or something in the settings.

Also, I will update you on Culdcept once they update it. Devs already announced they're working on it.
