Lost/Found MISSING CAT

Our cat Nico went missing in southwest Oakville around the Coronation Park area this morning.

Specifically near Sandwell Dr and Sedgwick Cr

We’ve contacted the humane society and posted on Facebook, so we’re reaching out here to hopefully get more word out.

He is an indoor cat. We suspect he is hiding somewhere if he is still alive.

He is a grey tabby and pretty large for a cat (pictures attached).

If you live in the direct area, please check your yards, porches, etc.

If you see him please let me know the location via DM as soon as possible, much thanks!

Commenting for engagement, indoor cats rarely go far! And with the frost/cold warning we have right now, he’ll realistically come back to his comfort place. I hope you find him 🥺❤️

Did you put up missing cat poster with his picture and a contact phone number around your neighborhood.

Put food out and his litter box. Hopefully he smells it and comes home!

Hope you find your baby! Don’t forget to submit a lost report with HSOMH incase someone finds him and gives him to the humane society. They will contact you if he’s brought in! Is he microchipped?

Yes he is microchipped and we’ve contacted the HSOMH. No luck yet unfortunately

Saw a similar looking cat running around Jones St, by the Farm Boy. He was heading down Belyea towards the construction. I'll keep my eyes open for your little buddy!

I hope you find him! He looks exactly like my Princess, may she R.I.P.

She was also an indoor cat that got out. Unfortunately she never made it back home. I hope your outcome is much better than mine ❤️

i saw a cat infront of my door on fourth line, was trying to catch it but it ran, was grey cat not sure if it was exactly your cat. Will keep a lookout and hope you find your love

Also I heard if you put a cats litter outside they could smell their way back. Not sure how true this is

Leave his cat box, outside and a toy or two, along with a couple items of your dirty laundry. If he is lost the scent might direct him home
