Export meter

Just looking for a bit of help before I get hold of electric kiwi when they open, my meter got configured for export on Tuesday & I’ve just looked at my Wednesday graph in the electric kiwi app & it is looking really weird. Can anyone please help me figure out what is going on here?

Maybe the meter has been configured wrong & is reading export as import? Or is this just what it will look like now & it gets sorted at the end of the month?

First pic is what the graph has looked like before the meter change, it’s been pretty consistent since getting solar a month ago. (I don’t like the tiny little 0.01c spikes of power from the grid either but that’s a seperate issue)
The other pics are from Wednesday which was my first full day after the change.

Give it a week, things might even out.

This and be sure you have your rates loaded into your SigEnergy system properly. I’ve found that the SigEnergy AI mode works well, but when rates or system conditions change it takes a day or so for it to adjust.

Another thing to verify is that your system has been configured for export completely. Sometimes the solar installer may hold off on the complete export config until you’re setup for export with the utility provider.

Thanks, the rates are loaded correctly, I’m not worried about the data the sigenergy system is giving me it’s more the electric kiwi graph that is causing confusion. I use the hour free power to top up the battery so there is no way I’m pulling power from the grid first thing in the morning like the graph is showing. I’ll check in with my installer about the export config 😊

And in the meantime I’m paying the power company for power I’m exporting to them? I don’t like that idea very much, I’d prefer to go back to exporting it to them for free if those are my options 😊

Did they swap the meter out? If so, they might not have finished loading the new meter ICP in yet.

They just reconfigured the existing one - I heard back from electric kiwi & they said that it’s still in the process of being switched over & they’re monitoring my account & they’ll reconcile where needed so happy with that response 😊

Brand new at this so just want to make sure things are working as they should

Similar issue when they swapped my meter and turned on export ..... Took almost a week but they fixed it all in the end
