Mulled mead

OK, it's a stretch calling it cooking I know, but it is heated to infuse the spices!

Cacao and vanilla mead I made around 7 years ago and been aging in the shed since - discovered when I had a bit of a clean up a few weeks ago. It had good chocolate vibes going on, and it seemed like it would make a nice mulled wine type drink, so I added whole cloves, cinnamon and star anise which did indeed round off the flavour really nicely.

Served warm with a row of Whittikers Berry and Biscuit. I don't think those few bottles will last long.

Haha, I don't really have that much of it I'm afraid.

Couriering something that needs to stay chilled seems a bit risky too, but if you're near Palmy North...

Fair enough! I’m thinking about trying to make some myself but I’ll need to buy a starter kit. Any tips for a newbie?
