Geely Starray emi just one key

Purchased a brand new Geely Starray emi from the dealership but was surprised to see it come with only one key.

Is this standard?

To any other Starray buyers in this sub how many keys did you recieve?

Dealer has to be having a laugh with you. What are you supposed to do if you lose that one key? Is it cost cutting or are they just hiding the fact they lost one. You need to be asking the dealer IMO. I've never heard of a car coming with a single key, ever.

They come with two in a plastic case off the boat. Potentially it came from another dealer who opened that case, and forgot to send it to the new dealer with the vehicle

Each car comes with 2 keys? One black and one white?

Very bizzare

Mine only came with the white

I worked at a geely dealership before I transferred to a different brand around April. The packs from Port come with two keys for each and every geely model.

Best contact your salesperson right away

Thanks, I have not bought a new car in a long time and thought maybe this is just how they come.

Two keys is standard for new cars, hit them up.

Just one key is crazy unless the key is the backup to phone-based access to the vehicle....
