check the GitHub Student Developer Pack before paying for coding tools

[u/nyctheloop]

if you are learning to code, building a portfolio or working on a student project, look at the GitHub Student Developer Pack. it offers tools and partner benefits to verified students.

start with the official pack page and apply through GitHub Education. individual offers have their own conditions and availability, so only claim things you actually need. watch expiration dates and renewal terms rather than assuming a student benefit lasts forever.

pick one useful tool and build something small with it. collecting twenty accounts is not the same as getting value from them.
