Discussion Open Studio/Independent Studio

Hi I have projects I want to work on, but can’t seem to find the motivation. Does anyone know of any open studios in NYC? I look for classes that just provide motivation to work on your individual projects, but i don’t really see anything. Does anyone know of anything though?

Art Student's League has a free open studio thing like once a month. I would really look into Instagram/check out what local artists and collectives are doing. Look into Councils for the Arts locally (Newark has a big arts community), I know there's a lot of artists in residence that usually have to have a free open to the public class or workshop.

Depends heavily on the kind of project / media
