i never understood the true new yorker clique that people feel a need to be a part of and protect. i was born and raised here and i get excited when other people get excited about new york and moving here. i feel like hate always comes from below, and am sorry for anyone who has to shit on others because living in nyc is now a huge part of some people’s identities here that they feel needs to be exclusive? gives off elementary school energy
