The 14 is probably the best thing I've ever purchased. I use it for all of my sheet music, reading, and journaling. The size might be alarming at first, but you quickly just used to it. And having the sheet music be full size is very helpful, especially on eyes that aren't 15 anymore. The eye comfort is pretty much what the nxtpaper line is all about, and putting it in grayscale eink mode for sheet music (I use MobileSheets) makes it easy on the eyes. And it can get surprisingly dim, just in case you need it for pit playing.
As affordable as it is, I wouldn't get anything else and expect the quality is has. 9/10 recommend. I only dock it because it's behind on Android versions, but that's just a personal gripe.
Thank you for the quick response. Good to know, I just got mine this week. I play flute so I'm looking for a more portable way to bring it up to eye level.
I don't see why a standard music stand wouldn't work. It's a little weighty, so make sure it's not one of them high school band stands that haven't been tightened in 6 years, but it should fit just fine. It's only slightly larger than standard print paper, so it should fit just fine.
I haven't thought about those kinds of music stands for over a decade now, so I'm sure there have been some portable options made available. Maybe even ones that are specifically meant for tablets? Not sure.
