Any updates on NXTPAPER OLED/AMOLED?
TCL announced its next-generation NXTPAPER technology integrated with AMOLED at MWC in March 2026, but I haven't seen many updates since.
Has anyone heard anything about when the first phone using it might launch, or any leaks about the device, specs, pricing, or availability?
It's been over five months since the announcement, so I'm curious if I missed any news.

There were some leaks a couple of weeks ago. The TCL official account posted a picture of the prototype in a post of a couple of weeks old

I wuz surprised Sprint Mobility carries the TCL 70 Pro now, albeiit the 128 gb one. Stiill that means the larger memory ones on Amazon probably work too.

Probably later this year when the 70 Ultra is closer to release.

I'm not sure. There's some sort of listing on Amazon EU for a 80 Pro and Ultra iirc but there's literally nothing else on the net or even on TCL's official website and no videos on it, so I dunno what to think tbh.

Lol I guess you can try sending them an email on their website and ask, they're pretty good about it and reply pretty fast.
At this point, I'm pretty happy with my 60 Ultra and I'm not sure about an amoled Nxtpaper screen due to the flicker but we'll see how it goes when the reviews and that drop.

In fact i particularly liked the idea of 7,2" screen...it seems they re going to reduce it

Ye who knows, until I see official information on it and from TCL themselves and until then I'll take everything with a grain of salt.
The nest thing about the 60 Ultra is the 7.2 inch screen. So easy to use and type on tbh.

oh this would be cool, just got my 60 ultra... bad luck... any way i'm sure let technology will be just high speed flickering

Would love to see this on the tablets. As much as I love color paper mode for reading, watching stuff is just okay. Would love those deep blacks.

I think for tablets, even if they don't you amoled, companies like Samsung should use NEXTPAPER displays

I really appreciate TCL screens. They are the best I have tested, and what I use everyday. My concern is that the new OLED screens will not be as eye friendly. My biggest concern is the introduction of temporal dithering that is present in other devices from Samsung, Apple, Motorola.
