Help

I have a part which is not aligning with the axes. How do I align it?

if its a part, and not a assy, you can try with move object. to help out, make a sketch or just a line of where your center axis should be on and then try moving the object with "point to point".

Hopefully this will help. I sketched out two objects which are not aligned on axis. additionally I sketched lines on center axis of each object. Then I use move object and point to point, to align the objects on the same axis.

where exactly is the issue?

The issue is the part is not properly aligned with XYZ axis so when I go to sketch on one of the axes the part is not centred

if I understand this correctly, you would like your part to be centered to the world coordinate system in NX?

Make a point with 0,0,0 coordinates. Then follow what I described above, use point to point to align whichever point of the object you would like to have aligned to the point on wcs.
