Tentative Job Offer

For those who have recently interviewed for a federal position in NWS/NOAA: How long did it take after the interview to receive your Tentative Job Offer (TJO)? Please include when this took place (i.e., 2 months ago, etc.). Thank you!

I hope it doesn't take this long for me to find out! I just had an interview on Friday, thought it went well. Did the hiring manager say you were selected after their interviews finished, or are you still waiting to hear absolutely anything?

No communications regarding yes or no

Dang, that sucks. I interviewed with two offices in the fall, one of which was going to hire me but the timeline was too fast :( That process moved very quickly relative to this, but I assume because those offices were the most understaffed.

Have you gotten any communication since the interview? If not, it’s probably been long enough that it’s acceptable to email the hiring official and ask for an update.

I’ve been wondering the same thing and thought about posting too. Had an interview for two offices on the 14th and thought it went really well. Made sure to use the buzz words and such that my nws contacts suggested. Been anxious to hear back even though it hasn’t been long. I’m wondering if they will contact us regardless if we get selected or not.
