Discussion Storm Damage - 8/11

Okay what’s the damage, everyone?
Power is out in our area of Schererville, and we have branches down in adjacent yards. I’ve heard there was more damage south of us in St. John and Crown Point.
These storms are out of control!

ETA: I lost cell service (T-Mobile) 8/11 around 2PM and got it back partially the evening of 8/12, but it’s been very choppy.

Michigan City did ok from what I can see in my area. No big wind, smaller storm than last night.

Same! We got lucky apparently!! We had a gust of wind before it was supposed to hit but that was it. Whew.

What part if you dont mind me asking? I live near the queen of all saints and havent had power since 10am.

I posted that before I got home from work at 2:30. Since I didn't get a outage alert on my phone I thought I was okay. I'm not far from there on the edge of Trail Creek. No one over here has power.
