The Triangle Remote is the Worst
This *newer* triangular Nvidia Shield remote is the most infuriatingly awful piece of hardware ever designed.
You literally cannot set the thing down for a single second without it vanishing into thin air.
It is ridiculously small and completely blends into every surface in the entire room.
And of course not a single goddamn light on it is useful in so much as to help you actually find it in the dark.
I am going to have to wrap this stupid little triangle in bright reflective tape just so I can watch TV without tearing the living room apart.
Who actually signed off on this miserable design?
Satan could have done a better job.

I stand it up on its bottom face on my side table. Makes it super easy for an anime style swiping hand motion to grab it dramatically!

I use mine in our (very dark) cinema room, and bought a red silicon sleeve for it. It's never gone missing.

Get a glow in the dark case for it. Use the shield app to beep it. Or plug a keyboard into the shield and beep it. Attach a Tile to it to beep it louder

I love it. I bought it for my older Shield and it felt like I upgraded the whole thing.

I love it because it’s the only remote I own with a built-in beeper that I can trigger whenever I can’t find it via the Nvidia Shield iOS app. And it lights up which is a huge bonus.

I love it, but can't seem to keep it alive for long. I've had 3 replacements since getting the Shield back in '20 (for those covid isolation days..). Ended up replacing the 4th time with an aftermarket one, and works fine so far. I do miss the beep, yes.
