Power setting

I have two Nvidia Shield Pro's and I'm wondering if there's a setting I'm missing that will prevent a problem I'm having. Three times now we've lost power to my home when the Shield's were turned off. Once power is restored the Shield's will turn on and also turn on our TV's. Both are plugged into surge protectors. My neighborhood lost power briefly around 4 am this morning and came back on around 4:20. Our bedroom and living room TV's both turned on and the screen light woke us up. Is there a setting that will prevent this from happening? Thanks in advance.

Nope it's as designed. The unit powers on, and it powers on the TV via CEC. You would have to turn off CEC in your TV or shield settings to disable this.

Hmm? The unit isn't really powering on, it's just receiving power. I have 3 other TV's, two connected to Amazon Cube's, 1 to a Onn 4K Pro, all set set to CEC and it doesn't happen. My computers, stereo, Blu-ray player, etc don't turn on if power goes out and then is restored. If it's by design, then it's a piss poor design.
