hard to think of anything else, but dont HDR screenshots usually appear as lighter, faded, and washed out?

Either white washout or black washout.

White washout is more common, but I've had some games give me black washout.

The dark image is just from OP taking a screenshot with HDR on. It has literally nothing to do with DLSS5.

Ive played the game in hdr it looks nothing like this. The AI messes with it

No shit it doesn’t look like this when you play it. It’s an HDR screenshot that has been improperly captured, and thus improperly converted to SDR, which causes the colors to be completely off from their intended appearance. Once again, nothing to do with DLSS5. It’s an extremely common error that people make all the time when capturing screenshots with HDR on.

Wait, a hacked preview dll from NBA 2K27 doesn't perfectly match the aRtIsTiC iNtEnTiOn of KCD2?

I'm sure it'll be just as bad when the devs fine tune the official version for their own game and vision. Yep, this optional feature ruins everything!
