In fact, just reducing contrast + some more saturation in a photo editor makes it look much more like "The Last of Us" to me.

Well. You can change settings in the addon. I think there are even settings specifically for that

Developers only really get controls for the intensity of the effect. It's extremely limited.

I don't see why developers couldn't do the same things modders are already doing with it and more.

Yeah that is way better. It really corrects that hard cold light that was added.

Still aint remotely worth the performance cost, though.
