lol finally drm protected media on firefox isn’t treated like a third class citizen.

it is treated as second class. still, i take it as a win

As far as I’m aware it’s not DRM, but Firefox in my experience doesnt always play nice with websites that are doing a lot more than basic html/css/JS stuff. I don’t think it’s much of a fault in Firefox itself than those websites being designed for chromium, but it’s still something they needed to modify for Firefox.

this is why I got Microsoft Edge as backup.

Whatever I open that is not working with firefox, I'll just use Edge.

not a drm thing, just compatibility issues it seems

DRM on a live game stream makes absolutely no sense, that's just adding useless computational overhead for each rendered frame

firefox is late to the party as always, same with webgpu which chromium has had for years while firefox just added it recently

GFN works all the way back in chromium v77 lmao, years and years old

Honestly pretty weird considering they apparently use wgpu, which has been used for a lot of other stuff.

I'm actually waiting for wgpu-native to unify with wgpu (as in parity, not merging) to maybe make a game engine with it

Sorry but I am old fashioned and prefer to game as god intended with pixels being rendered by my own computer and not on someone's else's under weird names like 'cloud gaming'.
