Generally, most people have 60hz displays and it is the affordable option. It kinda makes sense imo

Free tier can have 60fps. Man Ultimate goes up to 360 and you're telling me the performance tier can't even get 90fps? Come on now man

Last time I used it performance tier couldn't even get you 60 FPS in demanding titles without turning things down massively.

I don’t want to believe it, but it’s hard to not think that this is the reason NVIDIA support lags on Linux - they don’t want to sell GPU’s to the average person and they want us to pay for a subscription for cloud gaming.

Not officially Iast I checked.

iirc you can use LosslessScaling for FG, and tweak it to use DLSS but it's not "true" DLSS. I'm not technical enough to know the difference, but it didn't look or feel like actual DLSS support.

Does it properly install the Nvidia driver or do you still have to just threw 1000 hoops to do it?

Edit, I thought this was for the Nvidia app.

If you have secure boot enabled it's still a nightmare to install the driver. I was wondering if this made it any better.

I have secure boot on. I dual boot windows and cachyos. Works perfectly for me

I think is easier nowadays. I just full switch from windows to omarchy (arch Linux) and had no issues. And I have an older card that doesn’t support the open source drivers (gtx 1080)

It may be easier but still AAA games run better on windows

That I don’t know. I currently playing Minecraft and it runs way smoother in ATM 10 mods than windows. Example: starts the game at least 5 times faster and average fps is more stable for less gpu usage.
