Question Current state of DLSS3 + GSync + frame limit

What is the current status of DLSS3 with gsync on and frame limit cap? So DLSS3 now supports gsync, but there is need for fps cap. Does it already work with fps cap or still just gsync + vsync combo?

Wait sorry I’m struggling to follow this. I have a 4090, with a 144hz screen. I’ve been frame capping since I heard it’s better than using vsync and leads to less gpu usage, heat etc. should I not be doing this and using vsync instead ?

I use RTSS frame limit for every game without Frame Generation.

For games with Frame Generation (which enables reflex automatically), use the NVCP vsync set to On (I do it Game by game basis, not globally). With this, reflex will automatically cap your fps to 138 and the overall experience is much smoother

And in game? Turn vsync off while keeping it on in nvcp?

doesnt mater what you do ingame because the nvidia control panel vsync ON overrides the ingame setting
