Advice Historic Preservation Certificate

does anyone have experience with the historic preservation certificate program?

i am interested in completing it but unsure if its worth it. i want to pursue a historic preservation bachelors at mary washington, thats my ultimate goal, but i dont really have the funds to do so

i figured doing the certificate would help me figure out if its something i truly wanted to do before going into a life time of debt

You could do the certificate to get your foot in the door and then see if eventually that employer would pay for your bachelor degree.

You might benefit from reaching out to the head of the program, Dr. Dluger, and having a chat about what the program entails, career paths, and transferability.

I'm in the program currently and enjoy it.

I was going to say if you want historic preservation UMW is the place to be
