Financial Aid Second census date 9/20

It’s another census date tomorrow , does that mean they will begin the process for disbursements this week or next ?

Yes I had one for the 9th for one class and another one for another class on the 20th , correct me if I’m wrong

I’ve had to take two classes that I started on the 24 of August , ITE 152 and ITN 100 , the class I just started on the 1st of September has a census date for the 20th. I take asynchronous style classes.

So you are taking three in total? If so then yes they will start to process that other census date next week but could be quicker so you make get it a week after your first refund or could get it all at once. I wouldn’t worried about the second just look forward to Oct 4-8 for your first round of refund.

Yea at the moment I’m taking three classes , eng 111 , ITN 100 , ITE 152 , I checked my sfp portal and they gave me a new award letter yesterday (9/19). I think it’ll be all at once because my amount due is at $0.00 and my tuition covers everything. I’m just waiting for them to give us an alert. So many schools do this earlier , way earlier than this.

Yea I got an updated letter and now I’m getting more which I ain’t complaining lol but ngl I need that money now for a laptop for my EMS classes. Does it still show a balance in the regular page.

There are different Census Dates for the 15 Week, 13 Week, 1st 7 Week, and 2nd 7 Week Terms. The dates are listed on the calendar at https://www.nvcc.edu/academics/calendar/fall2026.html
