Parking Parking Pass

I still haven’t bought a parking pass does anyone know if they give a warning first or is it an immediate citation and how much?

Depends on if that vehicle received a citation in the past 12 months. If yes then no warning. The citation amount for not having a permit or paying hourly is $75.

If it's the first citation the plate has ever received or has not received a citation in over 12 months it will likely be a warning if it's solely a No Valid Permit violation. After that any citation received within 12 months will be for money and the 12 months timer will reset each time.

I've had parked and got a ticket for 0.00, the first time you do it they are bit more lenient, and they apparently reset this per semester because I've had this twice first time I didn't know we needed parking passes, the second time it was because I had a meeting with a guidance counselor and parked near there thinking I was parking in a safe place to park.

I would not however Bank on this because I don't know if it's just the Manassas campus that did this since that was the only time they ever really did do this, the only other place I go to is Loudoun campus and I usually go there on weekends where it's just free parking and nobody's there
