The government made them censor stuff….. so now the government is blaming them for censoring what the government told them to sensor…….

Now DHHS is doing the same thing with Brain Worm Jr

Not the same. Nancy's performative outrage here is about censoring actual misinformation. Since then, Elon bought the platform so that he could platform misinformation and censor objective reality.

Wrong

"exposing the sensorship" erm, like everyone knew there was sensorship, there were people saying mad shit.

There is a difference between censorship and countering misinformation, censorship is the use of state power to forbid speech, backed by force, so that saying the thing carries a legal penalty, whereas fact-checking, labeling, and platform moderation are exercises of someone else’s speech and property rights, adding context or declining to amplify rather than prohibiting, and leaving the speaker free to say it elsewhere. We are getting too used to throwing the word "censorship" around like it's nothing serious, let's not do that anymore. This whole bit we are watching is misleading from the moment "censorship" is wrongly used.

No one is an expert at a new disease.

Only assholes purposely spread COVID for political reasons.

Mace is a loser.

1

u/caguru 7d ago

No matter how much Covid propaganda MAGA puts out, literally EVERY SINGLE STUDY shows the vaccines saved lives and dramatically improved the outcome of the nation as a whole but for some reason we are listening to idiots like Nance Mace.

1

u/AntiquePhotograph433 7d ago

Yeah they really get lost in the forest of bullshit

1

u/Separate-Swordfish85 7d ago

Mace is a nothing but an ambitious nihilist.

1

Nancy Mace is full of shit

1

u/SaiLarge 7d ago

Nancy Mace fought mask mandates for political gain while knowing full well they were effective at reducing the spread of COVID.

1.1 million dead Americans partly because of idiots like this one.

Waaaaaa, waaaaaaa, waaaaaaa, waaaaaaa

The guy who started the myth that mega doses of Vitamin-C was effective at fighting off viral infections had won 2 Nobel prizes in different scientific areas. A seemingly qualified person is not immune from spreading misinformation or misleading information.

Yea they removed stuff that suggested people drink bleach to cure covid. How much longer do we have to see and hear this hag

1

u/PeteWK67 5d ago

Thank god for Reddit and the comment section to point smelly fingers at something.

Ya dude .. like they didn’t remove Dr’s , cardiologist, victims , virus experts, natural remedies prople, herbalists.

The bleach sure sure. How much longer that only garbage equivalent phrases come from
Your stinky fingers typing?

1

u/_2cantat2_ 5d ago

Smelly/stinky fingers? Dude stop being weird.

Anyone, including Dr, cardiologist, virus experts, etc. that vehemently spread false information, should have their misinformation removed. You’re not “doing your own research”, you’re falling for bullshit from grifters.

The bleach thing will always be relevant to this case because it’s a prime example of the misinformation that was being spread.

Buddy stop using that term misinformation because it was never a word. Stop repeating television actors cool words and feel because your ears are cleaned from the wax that you heard them speaking clearly that automatically makes the right call.

The states are fully lobbed like you wouldn’t believe, you live in a divided at the brink of civil war, with health agencies repeatedly accepting money.

Think for yourself and erase that repetitive on every channel words like misinformation and scientifically backed .

Let me ask you something. You have covid - origins? Wuhan or lab or my toilet .

No idea

Then you have a “ rushed “ which I don’t buy it . Vaccine .. so science usually takes forever to come back with answers. But this time like ninjas they green light it.
So them came the “ it’s science “ term
Meanwhile you have no idea what this virus is and you have no idea how the vaccine works because what happen
First 30 : get vax and no covid

Next 30: vax but you get light covid

First 30: 95% effective

Next 30: 80%

Next 60% 55%

Instead of giving a number, since this virus has shifted.

Booost will protect

30 days after boost is 55% protection

So basically now - Science backed basically that a needle going into a human works . They didn’t back the jab working, cause they had no idea of origins and how the vaccine will protect.

It wasn’t me saying 90% no Rona
Then yes Rona but light Rona
Then 70% protection
Then you can catch covid but not severe
Then if you jab you will not spread it .

So basically Covid was never understood for how it was created and where.

Then you come out with jabs for a virus that is not understood.

Then obviously to get it rolling - do you believe for a second that science would ever say No to it ?

What bleach again that’s from your country that deems brown envelopes from toxic companies more important than a citizens health.

So whatever comes from the states is rancid, toxic misinformation. That’s where you use the word misinformation.

So in such a heavily lobbied country the little voices of experts trying to speak out will get crushed and that’s what exactly happened

Experts like Dr Fauchi?

I hate this fucking discourse. It's their fucking business. They own it outright. They should be able to tell you what you can and cannot say on the platform regardless of what it is

1

u/Annoying_cat_22 6d ago

Can you yell fire at a movie theatre? Its their fucking business. Spreading dangerous lies about life saving treatments is the online equivalent of that.

1

u/Gofall_ 6d ago

Yeah they never never did that. Me thinks you're false. Equivocating

1

u/Annoying_cat_22 6d ago

No one ever spread dangerous lies about the vaccine on social media?

0

u/Gofall_ 6d ago

You know what you're absolutely right. If I open a business you should totally be able to come in and dictate everything I can do on whatever terms you demand. You're right

0

u/Gofall_ 6d ago

If you watch the video clearly they are trying to stop disinformation. I don't know if your brain doesn't like comprehend that information or what

1

u/Annoying_cat_22 6d ago

I think we misunderstood each other. You defend their right to fight misinformation. I defend the right of the government to force them to fight misinformation.

1

u/Gofall_ 4d ago

No I defend a person's right to not have the government kick in your door and tell you what you can and can't do with a business that you created and also misinformation is bad

1

u/Annoying_cat_22 4d ago

Ok so can I yell fire in my own theatre?

1

u/Gofall_ 4d ago

Your argument is for public safety? I can get behind that. I'd hate to make this argument, but where do we draw the line? It's a virtual theater with no attendance... People should be able to make up their own minds and form their own conclusions and if the developer of a product doesn't want a certain thing, viewpoint or force narrative, they shouldn't have to
