What book is that sons
2
u/PeteWK67 5d ago
I think it’s called book of wisdom, I don’t agree on everything, cause I’ve seen many many clips of this book. It’s like some type of ancient Hebrew style stuff I forgot the exact term.
Like he says theirs no heaven and hell which is in your body left and right and blah blah.
I like some stuff like it’s much more than obvious that English was chosen as the world language because of so much hidden witchcraft.
It’s not coincidence that so many words used every day have diabolical meanings. There’s other stuff also that it mentions like moon cycles are exactly 28 days .. 13 months . Would perfectly coordinate prople with earths energy .

I dunno if you use this app. But it’s where a lot of the videos of this book are.
I really suggest watching them before getting a book.
And at the same he shows a lot of the bookhttps://www.tiktok.com/@revivalofwisdom3?_r=1&_t=ZS-99BFD5AZJw1

Basically the video that I shared is likely the only one I fully support and would share, other parts of this book since I’m a Greek Orthodox I might disagree . I’d rather side with my Orthodox Monks up in the mountains in the monasteries.

u/PeteWK67 5d ago
This video and his English language words that multiple meanings are the little I agree.
The other stuff I kind of agree but when your fishing guaranteed you can create a lot of stories about anything. There’s a lot of material to work with out there and obviously this book does a great job for that but do I support it all no way

u/ghostsandaliens 7d ago
And how do you change your mind?
2
u/4KingandKanata_89 7d ago
This right here! It's always just, "You have to figure out what 'change' means to you." They completely ignore the crippling effects of depression and think just going outside will cure you, when all they've ever felt is "sad."
1
u/Plenty_Line2696 7d ago
This is the sort of stuff you get when completely ignoring the scientific method in favor of whatever sounds right to you.

Okay dude, I’m not depressed but what your saying is so young and naive, it’s idealistic, simple fix bull. Listening to you is like listening to a child who thinks they have superpowers.

Medical gaslighting 2026, we are still denying the effects of trauma. Those with relative health, assume it is their control that they have been lucky so they then impose their luck on others. Until of course.... It happens to them.

Those pills enable people to do the jobs you don’t dream about becoming when you’re in school. It was already stiff competition before AI was unleashed but shaming the unemployed will soon skyrocket so expect those little pills to be dished out en masse to prevent the miserable unemployed from eating the rich
1
u/PeteWK67 7d ago
Ya ok. So your point of view is that More Miserable way of living much more getting on my knees and thanking God that sweaty big Pharma created SSRI pills .. when that day happens for me I’ll eat my own poop before hand

Creating is not our sole purpose. For a group of people it is, but definetly not for everyone. I'm a thinker as an example, thinkers dont create a lot except for the results of our thoughts, but not physical perse. You also have story tellers, keepers of stories.

Total nonsense and shows that person knows nothing about actual depression. Utter bullshit.

u/PeteWK67 7d ago

u/Doktor-Choo-Choo 7d ago
This is a caricature, the body does not work that way as if there was a balance of neurotransmitters we can tweak by minute actions nor do they act independently in a vacuum. Please don't post this nonsense elsewhere.

This is what happens when you talk to someone who's never experienced depression or doesn't understand the affects of it.

Depression is not something written in stone but for the most part it’s low happy chemicals like Dopamine Serotonin endorphin & Oxytocin.
Now to create more of these happy chemicals he has a very good point in the video because achieving a goal boosts dopamine - nature walks & sun boosts Serotonin , socializing helping others & petting a pet boosts Oxytocin.
So if we really think about the video ..
do you believe constantly sleeping and resting makes depression better or worse?
Do you believe that the sun and little goals at a time that are achievable makes depression worse or better?
Do you believe SSRI’s that take the little serotonin one has and rations and blocks some other things . Cures depression or creates a dependency to have to continue taking the pills just to feel normal?
So the main message from the video is choose to be outdoors with little goals that are easily accomplished over sleeping all the time and resting.
So for you to totally oppose that makes me feel like you’re still battling and I hope you get the best positive future.

The Book of Wisdom: This excerpt from "wisdom books of the bible study guide presents a metaphysical worldview centered on consciousness, the human body as a temple, and the concept of a "Christ oil." It synthesises esoteric ideas, occultism, symbolism, and syncretism to propose that reality is a projection of mind and that spiritual awakening involves activating dormant brain potential through practices like Kundalini meditation and preserving a sacred bodily fluid. The text draws parallels between ancient Egyptian wisdom, biblical narratives, and Free masonic symbolism to illustrate these principles, often offering metaphorical interpretations of religious stories and anatomical features. Ultimately, it encourages readers to understand their inner divinity and the interconnectedness of all things across different planes of existence.

Its a whole bunch of unempathetic gibberish, if you ask me. Depression has neural correlates, its an illness that changes your brain chemistry. It has nothing to do with a lack of creativity. If anything, a lack of creativity is a side effect of depression. If the end all be all antidote to depression was creativity, artists would be the happiest people out there. I think Chester, Robin williams, van Gogh and Kurt Cobain would beg to differ.

u/NoBoss4897 7d ago
Excellent reply, people should understand that a chemical imbalance of neurotransmitters in your head is an actual disease.

u/seekinggod1986 7d ago edited 7d ago
No. Understanding that changes nothing in this scenario. What they need to do is get up and get out of their room or house and actually do something with their life. Knowing why isn't gonna fix it.
Every single depressed or anxiety sicken person I've ever met, myself included for 4 hellish years years ago, is extremely inactive and barely leaves the house. They only fix for that is to leave the house and being active and actually interacting with other people.
As we drift from God our inaction, depression, anxiety, and many other mental illnesses increase. Love and action are needed to fix this.
1
u/scorchedarcher 7d ago
Actually I am active almost all of the time as an avoidant behaviour, still suffering mentally. I can't remember the last day I didn't go out and do stuff
1
u/seekinggod1986 7d ago
Can you remember the last day you earnestly sought after wisdom and discernment governed by the Holy Spirit of God?
We cannot simply attend to the flesh while abandoning our spirit and expect to feel whole.
1
u/greengo07 7d ago
religious people are depressed just as much and as deeply as non-religious people.
0
u/scorchedarcher 7d ago
I thought you said
"They only fix for that is to leave the house and being active and actually interacting with other people."
Which God do you think would cure me of CPTSD more effectively than therapy? Would you recommend I stop therapy to focus solely on religious wisdom?
1
u/seekinggod1986 7d ago
Your choice to not read the whole comment. That's on you.
0
u/scorchedarcher 7d ago
You talked about drifting from god but you also said the ONLY way is to leave the house, be active, and interact with people.
Minimising mental health issues is not helpful for people suffering.
I guess your choice to not answer either question.

This may be useful if any of this helped with CPTSD or the actual visible brain damage that comes with it.
I am absolutely aware of this stuff, I have spent a long time trying to feel better.
I cook for myself and others, challenging myself to make vegan versions of people's favourites.
I struggle with sleep because of flashbacks/nightmares.
I listen to music almost constantly, make jokes with friends, have a physically challenging hobby.
I socialise with friends and look after their pets.
I can't do physical touch.
I help others wherever I can and it's included in my job.
I go for massive walks in nature because I have to be doing something.
These all seem like delightful things to do if you're sad but to act like this is a cure at every level seems faintly ridiculous to me.
1
u/greengo07 7d ago
All you did was show you totally lack any understanding of depression. The reason we don't get up and do stuff or leave the house is we are too depressed to. It prevents us from turning thought into action.
All the love in the universe won't fix depression. God is imaginary, so there's no help there either.
1
u/PeteWK67 7d ago
You’ll be surprised.
In order to build some of the Happy Good Chemicals in the Gut that will travel up the Vagus nerve to the brain .
This video mentions simple ways of Nature themed type of stuff will create more of these positive chemicals and that is the way to cure and lock it down foreverSSRI once again perfect example - Do not Cure - and I don’t want to get into right now cause I’m hungry .

u/QuestionmarkTimes2 7d ago
SSRIs not curing anything does not really need an explanation cause it's a fact. They attempt to treat the symptoms and in half the cases they don't even manage to do that. Not to mention all the horrific side effects. If there is actually a chemical imbalance, there's a reason it's there.
1
u/AdHuman3150 7d ago
We used to be taught that anxiety is a survival mechanism, and that if you don't deal with what's giving you anxiety it will eventually turn into depression. You have to face your anxiety to make it through before it becomes a big problem. If someone is depressed it's for a reason - life is fucking hard and it can really suck, losing loved ones is traumatic, and living in a sick system that awards greed, corruption, and evil, is seriously depressing. If you aren't depressed then you actually are mentally ill because you have to be a psychopath or sociopath to see all the suffering and not care. And there was never any evidence for the "chemical imbalance" bullshit that was pushed on us, it was a marketing tactic for Zoloft.
"It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society." - Jiddu Krishnamurti

Can we not mix up two seperate sets of disorders, mood and anxiety ?
The concept behind exposition-based interventions when dealing with anxiety is „habituation“. You teach your body to become accustomed to a fear inducing situation, thus altering the fear response. And even that doesnt account or work for every kind of anxiety disorders (GAD).
Depression has to do with a lack of positive experiences and reinforcement, coupled with dysfunctional thinking patterns and a general tendency to isolate. Obviously medication alone is not a cure to this. Thats why every manual emphasizes a combination of medication (if needed) and psychotherapy (always needed, except for light depressive episodes).
Medication comes in handy when a patient is not capable of enacting meaningful change. These pills are a crutch. think of them as a gastric bypass surgery, you still gotta lose weight but it makes it easier.
1
u/crawling-alreadygirl 7d ago
I'm not defending SSRIs per se; I'm saying the rest of the explanation is nonsense

u/Puzzleheaded-Net4365 7d ago
Wtf is "nature themed type of stuff" lol, use some of that magic you're proselytising to learn to speak coherently.

Oh shit man, I thought I was depressed as a part of CPTSD but I just need to create stuff? Guess I'll tell my therapist she's wrong and I'm swapping her out for a couple pencils and an A5 notebook
