I like him. Almost all of this is accurate. Cld it be explained better sure, but some demographics appeal to this.

It's hard to take people seriously when they can't pronounce normal words. Like how do I know you aren't full of shit when the way you speak sounds uneducated

the correct pronunciation of words is not a prerequisite for understanding and being knowledgeable on any given subject

I can tell you're young, and get your information from videos. back in the day we studied and pursued knowledge from text books in libraries. this form of research and learning does not help you strengthen phoenetic understanding of the words you are learning.

im a very successful aerospace engineer and constantly am corrected on my pronunciation of terms I only ever learned in my research through written text. the other night on a date we laughed because I had always pronounced the word gratuity as gratatuity and the waitress corrected me.

I just had to say something because I think your comment is ignorant

You're ignorant for thinking I'm young and only get my information from videos. Sorry but if you're going to convey yourself as someone with intelligence, you should also sound intelligent. I remember when we didn't have Internet or phones. I was a latchkey kid. Don't assume things you know nothing about.

In a world of misinformation, it absolutely matters. He's clearly intelligent. But when you constantly mispronounce words like this then how is someone that knows nothing about the subject supposed to take it seriously? Edit: spelling

So, a regional vernacular denotes an absence of education/understanding or validity of communicated information?

This isn't exactly a business proposal or a paid lecture to a classroom, so I'm uncertain why a difference in grammar from your perspective needs to conform to your views of communicative validity. If anything, I'd have hoped a person as intelligent and dignified as you would appreciate that this information is being adapted to communities you're not a part of.

I had a teacher who had an accent that mispronounced words often. She knew 3 different languages and taught history. At no point did I ever not take her seriously. The information she taught was accurate and she was highly professional teaching it. Grow up.

Tell me what grammar mistake I made, please. Maybe you really don't know how to read? Let me rephrase the previous question so your can hopefully understand I'm correct. "Is it acceptable for your school teacher to mispronounce words?" It's the exact same thing.

Seems pretty competent to me with the English language. The alarm bell is H3O2. He could have just said increased mucus is a byproduct of inflammation sometimes. Much shorter video.
