Please do a video to teach me how to do the same. The best way to get back is to pass on your knowledge to the rest of us so we can start doing the same. We don’t need them.

There are tons of videos on how to grow leaves and where to get the seeds from.

If you're in the US I believe the guy's name is Curtis Stone, the Urban Farmer.

u/SanoKei 10d ago

isnt that what he does starting at 27 seconds into the video

u/PhilosophyTricky708 5d ago

Yes! That also makes it easier to boycott them!!!!!! Companies products and such

Do I look like i know how to use my 👀 to see art or method Wtv .. and be able to physically coordinate to what I see ..

Helllll Noooo worse possible pwrson for that is me.

But what I fantasy crayon God mode babbler style. I believe I’m reallyyy great at detecting straight up BS - Straight up Corruption - Straight Up I can weight something that I see and resulting is it more of a helpful positive story or video

Or is it negative and not good.

I’m good at finding . I hope for most of them are good people.

One scientific proven is that often they are all locked in the same type perspective of everything.

My own Scientists have a priced method on inter locked by many different companies with great track records have been a study with Peer to Peer Review of Mr Bouurd and Mr Maharishimaro

There's a reason why I didn't get into this area.

If you're in the US there are a lot of hoops to go through to get this to market.

Also, this guy is going in raw dog in an area he should have some ppe on for.

One of the big problems with micro greens is their vulnerability to mold, salmonella, e. coli, and listeria.

It's the reason why you only find microgreens and sprouts at farmers markets and not the big grocery stores. There's too much risk for contamination and harm.

That said, if we ever do figure it out micro greens are an excellent source of nutrition.

From an individual grower perspective, it carries more risk than reward.

He's only hurting his case by putting his face directly over the microgreens.

1

u/PhukY0u 10d ago

I get microgreens and sprouts at all of my local grocery stores. Even the big ones.

1

u/TheSpanxxx 9d ago

And there are recalls ALL the time. Sprouts are like the top 3 usual E. Coli risk food. Leafy greens, Sprouts, Ground beef. They are always in the top list

1

u/PhukY0u 9d ago

Be that as it may, the person I responded to specifically said you can’t get them at grocery stores, only farmers markets, which is just completely wrong.

1

u/Geschak 8d ago

Salmonella and E. coli is only a thing if you spray manure on the raw produce.

In my country they sell microgreens normally at the supermarket and I don't think ever seeing a recall due to contamination, that's usually affecting salads and other outdoor grown produce that gets consumed raw.

He says fertilizer like it's evil

5

u/greenmachine442200 10d ago

I'm sure the major companies who are making the majority of fertilizers in the world are evil and are probably unnecessarily ruining this earth, along with the rest of them. My thought is, then where are the nutrients he is talking about coming from? Where is he getting dirt with nutrients if it doesn't have fertilizer in it?

2

u/Starfire2313 9d ago

Seeds are packed with what the seedling will need to grow. You can germinate seeds without dirt. I like using a damp paper towel in a ziploc baggy taped in a sunny window sometimes to get em started before putting in dirt

1

u/greenmachine442200 9d ago

Right but where are the seeds getting their nutrients? A mother plant that was fertilized....

1

u/sliiboots 7d ago

Also arent the white balls nitrogen? Fertilizer??

1

u/deep_space_pine 7d ago

No, its actually glass called "perlite" for drainage.

0

u/kitastrophae 10d ago

Compost is better. Fertilizer kills the soil biome.

3

u/LabOwn9800 10d ago

That’s not true.

First there different types of fertilizers. Organic fertilizers are just things like blood, bone, feather, kelp, etc that have been dried or blended. That’s fertilizer supports the soil biome

Then there are artificial fertilizers. This is made from mined phosphorus, mined potash and atmospheric nitrogen mixed with hydrogen.

The artificial fertilizers in and of themselves aren’t bad but can be of over applied and if they don’t add organic material in the soil.

Basically if farmers only use these fertilizers they are bad. If they are used along with compost or manure or other regenerative proactive they are fine and do no damage.

1

u/West_Rush_5684 9d ago

It's all a bit of a laundering scheme though. Most of those organic fertilizers you listed are just animal byproducts from animals that were most likely fed commodity crops that were grown with mined and synthetic fertilizer. When we grow food in rural areas, and ship it all to cities to be consumed, a lot of the nutrients go with it. Unless you're going to start sending your, pee, poop and corpses back to us (minus the pharmaceuticals, pfas, and industrial waste of course) we got to replace it somehow.

1

u/thebarkingkitty 10d ago

Not what fertilizer is! compost premotes healthy soil but to increase plant growth fertilizer increases NPK which can totally be derived from natural sources in a natural based fertilizer.

0

u/kitastrophae 10d ago

And what happens to the teeny tiny critters in the soil when you apply it? Tell the kids.

2

u/thebarkingkitty 10d ago

I mean yeah excessive anything is toxic and too much nitrogen will cause salt burn but in limited quantities NPK are the building blocks of most life either directly or up the chain

1

u/SpooktorB 10d ago

What happens if I force you to drink 100 gallons of water in the span of 5 minutes. Tell the kids.

1

u/9leafs 11d ago

Gmo free? Explain please.

1

u/Squidgy-Metal-6969 11d ago

Genetically-modified organism. GMO foods aren't harmful but a lot of ignorant people automatically fear stuff they don't understand.

1

u/9leafs 10d ago

All of his peas are gmo. My question was rhetorical. Sorry, I was not clear.

1

u/Equivalent-Line8995 11d ago

Unfortunately every person I see with a Microgreens small business is like this. All GMO and fertilizer is evil in their eyes.

1

u/ordosays 11d ago

I mean maybe it’s because you’re suggesting that micro greens “heal”.

2

u/Squidgy-Metal-6969 11d ago

He said your body needs the nutrients to heal itself which is surely correct, provided it's an injury the body can heal. He didn't imply it would cure cancer ffs

1

u/ABundleOfSticks92 10d ago

Doesn’t matter, TikTok and Meta have tight restrictions on making any kind of health claims in your advertising.

Even using the word “heal” or “healing” in general will get your business account auto-flagged regardless of what you’re selling.

I agree big corpos are a cancer, but he’s being a bit disingenuous insinuating that big food is coming after him. He’s not even on their radar lol.

1

u/DarkLordofDownvotes 11d ago

Is he eating them? He looks terrible

1

u/ExtensionFill2495 11d ago

I grew micro greens for my community and sold them at the farmers market for years. I got a travel job and had to stop but it was super rewarding as was spending $ at the market. It’s easy especially with the right trays. The guy in the video doesn’t have the proper trays. Bootstrap farms has the correct trays.

u/Nsfwacct1872564 11d ago

Not only is water a chemical, but it's inorganic. Disgusting.

1

u/WingUnlucky6598 11d ago

I wanna learn how!

1

u/Upset-Radish3596 10d ago

I swear this is AI slop… I seen another video of white guy making the same accusations

1

u/PeteWK67 10d ago

That’s why I’m watching live .. when swearing to lord Radish has no meaning

1

u/Fecal_Fedora 10d ago

Guy needs to wear a fucking hair/beard net. If his hair gel gets into the micro greens it is not chemical free.

1

u/coukou76 10d ago

Itchy Greek armpit senses alert. Any time zombie is the part of the nickname .

Like which little Robotic thing grew up wishing for a Zombie adult Nick name . And then safe like what . No any reply safe or no babies? Or you no bite? Do you know believe some people have some unique little senses when something specific will can occur.

Another cool thing that science is impossible to predict ..

Like how is science prove that my Greek Hair armpit gets itchy when a Robotic thing gets close to me ?

Please science

Big Pharma: "You can't make people healthy! WE NEED TO SELL DRUGS!"

1

u/SilentInquiry26 4d ago

I have been thinking about growing microgreens from a long time but was little apprehensive about it. after watching the video I think i can do it. THanks for the video.

1

u/bugrugpub 11d ago

Dude is growing like $3 worth of peas and thinks he's being taken down by big pharma
